A year of Jewish in your home and on your way

Instructions

This year's registration is divided into two parts. On this form, choose which program or programs your family, child or children will participate in. Submit the form and set up payments for tuition. Members may bill tuition to their membership account.

You will receive the link for the second form after you complete the first form. On the second form, you will provide information on each of your children you are registering. To complete that form you will need medical and insurance information, proof of immunization (or medical exemption). The forms do not need to be completed at the same time.

Contact Alan Halpern if you wish to discuss scholarships. Contact Katherine Schwartz or Aryn Miller if you have questions about choosing programs or program structure.

We welcome and encourage families who do not belong to Har HaShem to enroll children in second grade or younger in our Shelanu Mensch Academy. Families of children third grade and older must maintain a congregational membership during the program year. All of Har HaShem's members support our educational and social programs for children.

Please contact Lisa Webber about joining the congregation. We're delighted to have you become part of our community!

All of our programs, both for families and individual children, are described at the link.

Please answer the questions below. Once you have submitted this form, you'll receive a link for providing additional information about your individual child(ren). Please complete those forms. The information helps us plan and meet each child's needs.
Shelanu Mensch Academy (grades K-2), Shelanu (3-5) and Masa (6) are all family programs in which parents and children will to learn together, with other families, and a facilitator. If your children are not all in the program's age range, you may still be able to learn together. Contact Aryn Miller to learn more.

Derech (3-6), Ruach Shelanu (3-7), and Gesher (7) are all individual programs in which children learn with a facilitator and their peers.

Shelanu cohorts will focus their learning on one of the following topics. Please choose your first and second choices below.

  • My Jewish Home: Discovering meaningful home ritual and holiday practices for everyday and holidays, lifecycles, morning and bedtime, including rituals and sacred objects.

Har HaShem operates youth social and educational programs to sustain and strengthen our community. All members, through their annual Membership Contributions (Brit Tzedakah) support these programs. Families enrolling children in grades 3 and higher are expected to maintain a membership in Har HaShem through the year.
