6:30 PM - 8:00 PMBoulder JCC, Board RoomJewish families in Boulder County with children entering grades K-8 are invited to become Jewish student advocates.
The urgency to protect our children and ensure their schools are inclusive and safe has never felt more real. In partnership with the Boulder JCC and Jewish Family Services, a new ADL Pilot Advocacy Program for Jewish Parents and Caregivers, Standing Up, Speaking Out, is being launched in Boulder County to help families take meaningful action.
This free three-part training series, developed by ADL, will equip Jewish parents or caregivers of elementary and middle school children with the knowledge, skills, and community support they need to advocate effectively for their children in K–12 schools. Whether families are navigating subtle microaggressions or overt antisemitic incidents, this program offers a proactive and empowering response. Refreshments provided.

Grounded in research from ADL’s Center for Antisemitism Research (CAR), the pilot draws on data that highlights both the rise in antisemitic incidents in schools and the uneven presence and implementation of Holocaust education in Colorado and across the U.S. According to CAR, 70% of Jewish students who experienced antisemitism in school did not report it—and of those who did, more than 40% said no action was taken.
