Selichot is the Saturday night before our Days of Awe. Traditionally, we recite prayers asking for forgiveness, rebuilding our connection with the Divine and our Selves. This year, we will also gather to share our own prayers for peace, strength, healing, and hope. We will create a space in our sanctuary to reflect on our lives and our world, and aspire to a place of strength, together, in our Brave Space. We will include some of our Selichot liturgy, songs of comfort, engage in sacred encounters with neighbors, and change our Torah covers together from their every day covers to their Holy Day covers.
