Who or what is God? Is God still relevant? Does "God talk" at services put you off?
Throughout our history, in every time and place, Jews have struggled with the question of God. If your childhood vision of God (you know, the old-man-on-a-throne-in-the-sky) or the image advanced by outspoken segments of today's society don't work for you, this conversation is for you.
In this course, designed for the first-timer or people who have already taken Ayeka, we will explore both traditional and modern theologies and try to extract meaning for ourselves.
Our goal is not to define "God" or dictate your relationship with God, but to enable each participant to come to his or her own understanding of God. Please join us for an open and non-judgmental exploration.
Ayeka will meet on the following Tuesday afternoons from 12:00pm-1:30pm
11/5, 12/10, 1/14, 2/11, 3/10
