Second Seder - Passover 5779

Saturday, April 20, 2019 15 Nisan 5779

5:30 PM - 8:00 PMHar HaShem South Building

We're sorry, we have reached our capacity for Second Seder and will no longer be accepting additional reservations.

We hope you can join us next year, Chag Pesach Sameach!

Every year we sit down at our Passover Seders and recount and re-experience the journey from slavery toward redemption. With ritual foods and songs, prayers and readings, we bring this story to life. The Seder is a personal, family, and communal experience. Bring your family and join your friends at Congregation Har HaShem's second night Seder.

Rabbi Bronstein will lead the Seder beginning at 5:30pm.

The seder (including meal) will last approximately 2-2.5 hours. All are welcome, young and old, newcomers and veterans. Crafts for the young and stories for those older will evoke and reimagine our traditions.

The meal will be kosher style for Passover and will be catered by A Spice of Life.  The menu includes:

Vegetarian Matzoh Ball Soup

Grilled Chicken Breast with blackberry balsamic demi-glace or
Stuffed Butternut Squash (vegetarian)

Beet Citrus Salad
Roasted Roll-Cut Carrots
Roasted Fingerling Potatoes

Children's Menu
Chicken Tenders with ranch dressing and ketchup
grapes and strawberries, carrot sticks

Dessert
Coconut Macaroons
Flourless Chocolate Brownies

Coffee, Water, Iced Tea, Lemonade, Kosher Wine

Har HaShem follows Sephardic practice and allows corn and rice during Passover. Although this menu does not include corn or corn syrup, the vegetarian option does include rice. The entire menu is dairy and gluten-free. No leavened foods may be carried in.

The cost is $36 per adult and $15 for children between the ages of 4-10. Kids ages 3 and under are free.

We thank A Spice of Life for generously helping to offset the cost of the seder.

Sorry, Registration has ended.
