Check back in early August for the offerings for the 2020-2021 academic year. Please note that we are delaying the release of registration so that we can give you more accurate information about the kind of programming we will be able to offer for next year in light of the shifting Covid-19 restrictions.

Registration Policies

Membership in the congregation is required for children to attend school at Congregation Har HaShem, and you must be current in your financial obligations in order to register for school programs. If you are not currently a member, or if you are a member and not current in your financial obligations, please contact our office at (303) 499-7077.

Be sure to read the Policies and Procedures  document prior to filling out registration as you will be asked to agree to these policies before you can complete the forms. Additionally, if your child is on medication which needs to be administered at school, please download either the SELF Administered Medicine Form or the STAFF Administered Medicine Form which needs to be signed by your child's physician and returned to our office. If you have any questions about registration, please contact the Har HaShem office via email or by calling 303-499-7077.

A few notes of some new items you will see on our form:

  • Beginning with the launch of the 2019-2020 academic year, Har HaShem requires proof of immunization or an immunization medical exemption form for participation in any youth education program or event (school, youth group, camp, etc.). This requirement brings us into alignment with the Youth & Camping Programs of the Reform Movement.

While we are aware parents may choose to defer the vaccination of their children, we believe this is a public health issue, especially in the confined environment of a many of our programs, and discourage deferment for any but medical reasons. Therefore, all students and staff will be required to have age-appropriate vaccines recommended by the Colorado Department of Public Health and Environment, American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP), and the Center for Disease Control (CDC).

You will be asked to upload proof of immunization from a doctor or an  Immunization Medical Exemption form Immunization Medical Exemption form as part of the registration process. If your child cannot get vaccines because of medical reasons, you must submit a properly completed and signed official form in that field. This form must be completed and signed by your child's medical doctor.
  • For K-5, your child will have the opportunity to prioritize your child’s choices for kitot kef (the fun experimental activities we have been doing this year pre and post lunch). We will do our best to accommodate those preferences. Each child will have the opportunity to try two different kitot kef during the year – each one approximately 6 sessions long.

A note about discounts and deadlines:

Early Registration
Har HaShem offers a $35 per child discount for children who will register for full year programs, submit all forms and pay all or at least 25% of tuition and fees by June 14. The discount will be applied to your balance when you submit the registration form and before payment. Please note: if any materials are incomplete or payment is not received, you will not qualify for the discount.

Late Registration Fee
To assist us in preparing for the coming school year, we ask that you register your child prior to August 1. If you complete registration after August 1, we will assess a $50 late fee for the child. The easiest way to avoid the late fee is to register now.

Early Withdrawal
The family must notify the school administration of the child’s withdrawal from the program. Tuition will be refunded IN FULL minus a $150.00 processing fee if done prior to the 4th class session, October 20. After the 4th week, there will be no refund.
