Get on the job training for being a classroom aid. You will learn basic teaching skills, be part of our faculty team, get to work with younger learners and be a leader and role model in our program. Madrichim can choose to receive service hours, a $500 stipend towards a Jewish experience, or be paid. Madrichim can be part of our twice a month Sunday classes, or Kehilah gatherings, or both. Madrichim will meet from 8:30-noon on Sundays when classes are in session (or for Kehilah gatherings starting an hour prior to gathering start time) and be required to attend quarterly Madrichim Corps gatherings Sunday after morning programming. Please check the schedule.

Twice monthly, on Wednesdays 6:15-8:15 including dinner
Grades 11-12
What would you do with $5,000? Teens will come together to learn about Jewish values, engage one another about what is important in their lives, connect with philanthropists and non profit leaders, participate in advocating for change, and then… ALLOCATE the $5,000 to programs and agencies in our community. If your teen has thought about issues around justice, community building, or philanthropy, then this program is built for them!

8th/9th jewish memory and Me: the Holocaust
Weekly, on Wednesdays 6:15-8:15 including dinner
Grades 8-9
While learning about the Holocaust, teens will be empowered to “strive to be human.” This workshop will be much more than learning facts about Holocaust. It will be a sensitive learning experience to help Jewish teens develop connections to and ownership of memory, learn how to take those memories and bring it into their lives through their choices and actions.

Confirmation
Weekly, on Wednesdays 6:15-8:15 including dinner
Grade 10
Our tenth graders are coming into their own, thinking about their futures, testing boundaries and exploring their identities. It's a time and place to explore their feelings and experiences with Jewish community, values, and wisdom. They'll wrestle with the challenging stuff now that they're really ready for it! In the spring, students go to Washington D.C., along with dozens of other confirmation classes, to participate in the L’taken Social Justice Seminar, sponsored by the Religious Action Center of Reform Judaism. At the end of the weekend, they will head to Capitol Hill to lobby their representatives in Congress. At the end of the year, the cohort leads an EPIC worship ritual in which they share their opinions and commitments, confirming who they are as Jews. L’taken Social Justice Seminar is Friday-Monday, February 10-13.
