Psalms address the full breadth of human emotion, including sadness, disappointment, rage, joy, gratitude, and jubilance. In this 3 session class, we will explore what psalms are, the different types of psalms, how psalms have and can be used in communal prayer, small ritual groups and in individual spiritual practices. Together, we will read, discuss and savor these ancient poems - a part of the spiritual quest for millenia and hopefully a part of your spiritual tool box. Readings in English.
This class will be taught by Rabbi Ruthie
