Membership in the congregation is required for children to attend school at Congregation Har HaShem, and you must be current in your financial obligations in order to register for school programs. B’nai Mitzvah Fee

$875.00 per child

Fee due if your child is having a Bar or Bat Mitzvah at Har HaShem this year, between July 1, 2016 and June 30, 2017. 

Bar/Bat Mitzvah Fee: In the academic year of your child’s bar/bat mitzvah, in addition to registering for religious school, you are required to pay a b’nai mitzvah fee.  This fee is to help cover the additional materials we give your child, sanctuary hall usage for the day of the bar/bat mitzvah, and the additional hours (25+) we spend with your child and family for: preparation programs, d’var torah coaching, rehearsal and meetings with clergy and staff.

8th Grade Machon (Madrichim-In-Training Program)

$200 includes middle school retreat 
If your 8th grader is interested in trianing to be a madrich (assistant in our school), you should register. Machon sessions will be held all Sunday mornings when school is in session. Machon students will be assigned to work in Sunday Religious School. Tuition includes Core 8th Grade Class and Middle School Retreat.

Song Leader Institute
$36 per child
Have you ever participlated in a NFTY or camp-style song session, campfire or service? Usually led by a teenager or young adult, these engaging musical experiences create a strong sense of community and memories to last a lifetime. In the Song Leaders' Insititue, we'll learn the skills needed to create these expreiences for others in our community and beyond. Facilitated by Debra Winter, a professional song leader who works with groups of all ages across the country, we will learn the guitar skills, group management strategies, and teaching techniques needed to become strong musical leaders ourselves.
 
 
Madrichim
If your child wishes to apply to be a madrich or madricha, he or she must have completed the machon year and be going into at least 9th grade. Please have your child complete the following application: CLICK HERE

If your child has already served as a madrich/a she/he should communicate directly with Katherine Schwartz about employment for 2016-2017 school year.
