Congregation Har HaShem is a vibrant and progressive Jewish community. We hope you will consider joining our synagogue. A membership at Har HaShem provides you with access to a rich and unique Jewish experience. We are an open and inclusive congregation and we are proud of our diversity. Har HaShem welcome interfaith families with open arms in all areas of congregational life.
Our synagogue offers Shabbat services on Friday evenings and most Saturday mornings. We are able to offer a variety of services including Shabbat with the Har HaShem House Band, services for young children and their families, Torah study and Shabbat Minyanim and more! Our holiday celebrations are inspiring and joyful!
As a center of Jewish learning for children and adults, Har HaShem offers year-round adult programming, classes and other study opportunities. Our Religious School instills in our students a commitment to Jewish living, and gifts them with the tools to grow spiritually and develop a strong Jewish sense of self.
Har HaShem has achieved regional and national recognition for our groundbreaking work in creating a caring community. As a congregation we come together to share the joyful times as well as to provide support and assistance during the difficult times. Our Bikur Holim/ Nichum Avelim (Visiting the Sick/Comforting the Bereaved) program has served as a model for many other congregations. As well, our commitment tikun olam, particularly our work with Darfur, demonstrates our strong and multi-faceted dedication to repairing our world.
The decision to join a congregation is an important one. Please feel free to visit anytime, meet our staff and talk to other congregants. At Har HaShem, we share the belief that Judaism can inform all aspects of one’s personal life and that the synagogue is the center of Jewish life. There are many “doorways” in and we are happy to help you find your niche!
We want to make it as easy as possible to become a member of Har HaShem. Our fair share dues structure provides an opportunity to support their congregation within their level of means. Please feel free to contact our Executive Director Gary Fifer at g.fifer@harhashem.org or 303-499-7007 ext. 10 to learn more about how to a part of this wonderful community.
